Dottie Harris, a talented veteran to the book & publishing world, is a former top editorial director for Random House Publishers but is also praised for spearheading many popular publishing programs including some of their most profitable instant expert series of books. She also served as Executive Editor In Chief to Balentine Books, a division of Random House, overseeing many of their trade books. Ellen Blackman, is a media/branding specialist with expertise in literary/film & business who has a special knack for taking clients from ground zero to national recognition. Aside from building brands this former international journalist has strong ties to media from every beat in every corner of the world and has served as consultant to Columbia Tri-Star TV, Disney, Random House Publishers, Lyons Press as well as various branches of the United Nations. In the early days she earned her hard knocks as a reporter/ film maker on the front lines of a war zone where she relied on her public relation’s savvy and marketing skills to raise awareness as well as millions of dollars for the Bosnian cause. She currently works with major news organizations such as CBS, FOX, ABC, CNN, PBS A P, Dow Jones, National Public Radio & more. She’s the published author of a book (Harvest in the Snow; Brassey’s Publishers) which won her four star reviews in Publishers Weekly & an endorsement on the jacket by the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace in Washington D.C.

Christopher Janus, in memory of our company’s beloved senior advisor and mentor whose own book was turned into an award winning Disney movie starring Lou Gossett Jr., Michael Sarrazin & Chynna Phillips (Goodbye Miss Fourth of July). Chris left us a legacy of knowledge and contacts from the business, publishing, movie & entertainment industries. He shared his gifted public relations and marketing strategies with us and has introduced this company to a well spring of powerhouse icons including his life- long friend and business liaison, Art Nielsen Jr. (retired CEO of A.C. Nielsen/ famed Nielsen Ratings). Chris worked as a consultant to such business giants as Standard Oil, Bache & Co (Bache- Prudential), J. Walter Thompson. In addition to his business accomplishments, Janus facilitated many successful charitable fundraisers and notable events including the Modern Poetry Association White House Celebration held at the White House under three presidential administrations.
